Wedding Day

We celebrated Eric's youngest sister Karen's wedding over the weekend. It was a beautiful day for a beautiful couple. I love weddings and the reminders they bring to the reason for marriage and the legacy of family. It was a fun fun day and we enjoyed every minute.

We had the Rehearsal dinner on Wednesday night. Kyla was a bell ringer along with her 4 boy cousins on the Schippers side. Practicing with ALL the bells....

After the church we headed to Tunnel Park for a wonderful meal and time for the kids to play. It was such a perfect night for the park!

Friday morning we had our traditional sisters breakfast before the wedding at DeBoer Bakery.

Karen and Scott with all their nephews and niece!

Kyla was very excited to get a Curious George puzzle for being a part of the wedding.

Family picture

Eric is a busy man with his new business. Even 5 minutes before the wedding he was taking calls...

A big thanks to Stephanie, Abby and Lily who helped take care of Kyla during the ceremony and get her ready for her bell ringing debut...

The beautiful bride all ready to head down the aisle!

The kids did great annoucing Karen and Scott..so cute! Kyla was a bit apprehensive when she saw all the people but she did what she needed to. We were practicing at home and throughout her walking down the stairs I could hear her little voice "auntie Karen is coming" while she rang her bell.

Fun at the reception...

We played the Shoe game..very fun and we all had a lot of good laughs.

Eric and I were Master and Mistress of Reception which was very fun!
And finally we went to pick up Kyla from her slumber party at Abby and Lily's house. A few minutes before this her arms were wrapped around Lily...too stinkin cute.
