I can't believe Jayden is almost 2 months already! Time flies so fast. What he is up to at this stage:
Sleep: we are working on getting more sleep! Around 5 weeks I finally gave in and let him sleep on his belly at night. Since then he sleeps 4-5 hour stretches which is a great improvement! Before then he was getting up every 1-2 hours which was horrible. He just hated to sleep on his back or be swaddled and would constantly startle himself awake. He is pretty routine now..goes down between 9 -10 and wakes up around 4 to eat then goes back down until 7ish. We are still working on getting him in his crib and I hope to have that transition done before I go back to work.
Clothes: I had to put all the newborn clothes away around 4 weeks. He is now in 3 months and 3-6 months and growing every day! Some of his 3 month clothes are getting too small already which seems crazy to me because his sister was in newborn until she was 3 months.
Development: He started smiling around 4 weeks and loves to smile and talk to mommy and Kyla. Poor Eric hasn't seen a lot of that yet since he is always fussy in the evening and smiles are pretty few between 5 pm and bedtime. He has rolled once from his belly to his back but I think it was just a fluke. I don't think it will be long and he will be crawling across the floor. I am amazed at how strong he is. He plays on his belly a lot since its his favorite position and we often find him moved out of his
playmat already.

Fussy Pants: Jayden likes to make his voice known in our house. We have been struggling with him being very fussy and possible colic. Most of the time this happens between 5 and 10 pm. Usually most evenings are spend rocking, swaying and bouncing. My back is in desperate need of a massage since there aren't many places I can set him down in. The Moby Wrap has become a best friend and he spends many hours in there! He does love the swing but tends to sleep when he is in there so we try to keep him out of there during the evening hours. We are beginning to have more better days than bad days and hoping as we near the 3 month mark things will get better.
Sister Love: Kyla adores Jayden and had adjusted very well. She always loves to help or cheer him up when he is crying. Usually when he is fussy she will sing Jesus Loves Me to him and often (almost every time) he will stop crying during the time she is singing..its so cute! Haven't been able to get it on video yet.
Weight: About 10 lbs...we have his official doc appt next week but weighed him on our scale and he was around 10.
